Townsend Tennessee Cabin Rentals: A Great Experience

Townsend Tennessee Cabin Rentals: In 2005 I got the bug to take a trip to Townsend, TN. Townsend is about three hours away from Murfreesboro,TN where I live.

There is nothing like staying in a cabin out in the country!

I planned the trip with my church singles group. Someone I go to church with told me about a cabin rental company in Townsend that was actually a nonprofit organization. Tuckaleechee Retreat Center is the name of the place.

A lady named Ruth is the innkeeper.She is a nice lady that has ran the center for several years.

Because the first year we went to Townsend was so much fun, we decided to go back last year(2006). The first year it snowed five inches while we were there. It was amazing.

Ruth said that hasn't happened in years so we were lucky.

I took some pictures that you might find cool. I suggest you check out the center.

This is me passed out on the couch at the cabin. We couldn't go anywhere because we were snowed in the cabin.

This is a picture I snapped of couple going through the "drive through window" wedding chapel. Yes! You read that right.I was shocked myself.

The next two pictures are of the cabin. It was beautiful.
