A part of the Appalachian Trail is located here and the scenery is lovely. There are trails for horseback riding and you can visit this area in the winter and go cross-country skiing.

The opportunity to go kayaking or deep sea fishing is also a great opportunity to enjoy the water and relax during your vacation. The Jersey shore is where you want to go to see the boardwalks and piers. If you take a trip to Frenchtown, you can visit the antique shops here and there are also some art galleries and boutiques for making a day of the trip. You will find many of the towns in New Jersey have antique shops. If you are a connoisseur, this will be a great time to find a few to add to your collection.
