slabs of rock. This cave is over one thousand feet in length and ten stories high. The rock formations
have names like The Bridal Veil, Goliath and The Castle.
14. Nuclear Bunker for Congress, White Sulphur Springs - This tops the list as one
of the most mysterious places to visit in West Virginia. Once a secret bunker built 700 feet
underground beneath the elegant Greenbrier Resort to house members of Congress in the case of
catastrophe, this is now a tourist attraction and one of the places to visit in West Virginia
that’ll give you something to talk about. The bunker was built to protect the federal government
during the Cold War. On the tour, you’ll see the bunker, the dormitories, the hospital, decontamination
rooms, the power plant, and accommodations for Congress.
15. Big Bend Golf Course - Golf players at every skill level will enjoy this golf
course. Play 18 holes while you enjoy the picturesque Coal River.
