You will also find a swimming pool with a view of the ocean, the beach where you can walk for several miles or just lie in the sun. There are a few places you should check out at this hotel such as the Café Plaza for delicious meals, Palapa bar for your afternoon refreshment and Rocky’s Cantina for the dinner hour. You will be located 30 minutes from the volcanic mountain range in Sonora.
Best Western Playa Inn:
Location: 18 Sinaloa Ave., Puerto Penasco Mexico. This hotel is located three blocks form the beach. While you may not have the beach right out your hotel room door you do have a pool and Jaczzi. There is also a swim up bar, BBQ place and restaurant to offer you the finest in cuisine. The hotel rooms have queen- sized beds, a sofa bed, refrigerator, microwave, and two televisions. Breakfast is included with your stay. They also allow guests under 17 to stay for free.
Marina Pinacate: Paseo Las Glorias, No. 3, Puerto Penasco Mexico is the location of Marina Pinacate. This is a condo location offering you plenty of condos to choose from including those that are poolside or have an ocean view. The condos offer a pool, children’s pool, BBQ grills, and beachfront access. There are restaurants, bars, and plenty of shopping with in a few minutes walk from the condos. You can also enjoy the Plaza Las Glorias Hotel for a day.
Margarittavilla: Location: 63 Campeche Ave., Puerto Penasco Mexico. The Margarittavilla is one of the many places to stay in Rocky Point. They offer you cheap accommodations for those on a budget. The rooms are within distance of the bars, restaurants and other attractions. You will find that Margarittavilla is a very simple place to stay for those who are not going to remain in the rooms for very long. You do have a private room, but not much else.
Hacienda del Mar: Hacienda del Mar is yet another in the list of places to stay in Rocky Point. It is more of a bed and breakfast atmosphere with shaded porches, walkways, patios, and BBQ grills. You will have a view of the ocean as well as a full breakfast and the ability to explore the Cetmar Aquarium. The prices at this location are comparable to some of the larger resorts. They still offer a family vacation atmosphere and a comfort you may not find at some of the more budget conscious places. Rocky Point is one of the smaller seaside communities you will find in Mexico and offers you plenty of attractions. You will not want to miss the sunsets from your hotel room or suite.
