Located in the same complex that the Center for Fine Arts is located in, the museum also has displays that show the lifestyle of the earlier people who lived here - the Native Americans and the 19th century settlers.

Go to Biscayne Boulevard and see the duplicate of the H.M.S. Bounty. This was the ship that was used in ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’. Another spot is Planet Ocean. This is the “largest marine science museum in the world”. The simulations here will be a sight because they have hurricanes, they display icebergs and they have the smallest ship, April Fool, that ever crossed the Atlantic.

Another of the things to do in Miami if you are into ocean life is the Miami Seaquarium. This is a dolphin show that is topped off by the performances of a killer whale. The existence of a shark pool and tanks that house the many other sea creatures such as sea lions is here as well.
