I LOVE Clingman's Dome!

Being from Tennessee, we have some great places to visit. However, one of my favorites is Clingman's Dome near Gatlingburg, TN.

It is such a beautiful place to visit. You can hike up this ramp to a 54 foot observation tower. I am scared of heights but it is so amazing "I" even make the walk to the top of the tower.

They say you can see for about 100 miles if there isn't many clouds blocking the view that day.

I have yet to hike the trails near Clingmans Dome but it is on my list. A part of the Appalachian Trail begins right there at the entrance.

If you ever get a chance to go, it will be well worth the trip.
