Once you get to the Sky Deck the view is spectacular and they even have considered the little ones. A knee-high viewing, called Knee-High Chicago is available for them with windows that allow viewing some of the historical moments that relate to Chicago.

Take a dining tour and enjoy Chicago’s finest dining establishments. As a way of seeing all that Chicago has to offer, guests are chauffeured from one restaurant for appetizers, another for the main course and still another for desert. Sampling the best of Chicago at all the fine dining establishments this is a unique dining experience for those who are visiting the area and want to sample different cuisine. This is one of the Chicago things to do that will be quite pleasurable.

Visit the oldest zoological gardens located in Chicago. This zoo entertains over three million visitors a year. Come visit with the gorillas and the giraffes. The zoo has one thing that many do not. The admission is free and this is probably one of the few left in the U.S. that does not charge. The zoo is open all year long for the convenience of visitors.

When searching Chicago things to do, the Lincoln Park Zoo has other amenities as well. The LPZOO Express, safaris and gift shops for choosing a memento to carry home will allow you to remember your vacation in Chicago for quite some time.

Come to the city of Chicago and enjoy the Taste of Chicago. The largest food festival in the Midwest is celebrated each year. The local restaurants prepare ethnic delicacies for the crowd that arrives each year in Grant Park. The food and entertainment that is a daily occurrence throughout the festival make this one of the more interesting aspects of Chicago things to do. Once again, it is free admission.

The festival draws almost a million people who come to see the local as well as the national performers featuring the blues, delta blues and swing every year.
