Australia's Outback - The coolest place on Earth

Okay, I admit it is not the coolest place regarding temperatures. However, the Australian Outback is a region well worth a visit.
I fell in love with the Outback many years ago. People at home (I come from Germany) never understand that I long for the next visit down under. "It must be boring, everything looks the same", "It is dangerous", these are only a few comments I get to hear when I start raving about the Outback.
Nothing of that is true.
Unique little towns, interesting history, and great people, awe-inspiring empty spaces, landscapes that change their colours during the day, flora and fauna like nowhere else in the world - the list goes on and on.
Talking of colours, the ever changing colours of the scenery inspires painters and photographers. Fifty film rolls used within 4 weeks says it all. Usually, I run out of films before the trip is finished.
The Australian Outback covers almost two third of the continent, and several climate zones. There is a favourite place for every taste: a dusty track in the middle of nowhere, tropical rain forests, lonely beaches.
The Australian Outback is a natural wonderland, like me, you will also love it. My excitement about the Outback finally led me into writing Ritas Outback Guide. http://www.ritas-outback-guide.com/
